Softlanding Program - to Berlin

Impact Hub Amsterdam, Amsterdam Impact – the City of Amsterdam’s impact entrepreneurship program – and ABN AMRO are organising a 5-day soft landing visit to Berlin for 5 sustainable food companies looking to expand into the German market. The trip is packed with on-site visits, expert meetings, networking and workshops. You will meet stakeholders from retail and food service; the municipality; the local food, social enterprise, and startup communities; investors; and production facilities. After the trip, you can expect to have a go-to-market roadmap with your next steps and all the relevant contacts to follow up with and validate your business in this market!

Dates

The trip is scheduled from 28 September through 2 October, 2020. The program is subject to COVID-19 regulations and may be postponed if necessary.

COSTS

The program and curated content are taken care of; all you need to pay for is your own travel expenses (travel, hotel, food).

APPLICATION CRITERIA

  • Your company is registered as a Dutch private limited company (BV or besloten vennootschap in Dutch) and based in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area
  • Your company is active in the Food sector
  • You have the ambition to set up a full-time presence in the new market, which includes finding local partners and investors
  • You have established product-market fit and your team is ready to go abroad, with respect to both time and budget
  • Your motivation to participate in this program is high and well-founded
  • You are a changemaker: you have the intention to bring about positive change
