With this internship you will become part of the Innovate team of Impact Hub Amsterdam. The Innovate team is always on the hunt for the newest, most innovative startups to match them to the right opportunities. We look at scaling, proof of traction, impact, and ambition. Finding these startups and connecting them to and supporting them with finding the right scaling opportunity is key for their (impact) growth.
In addition to in-house programs we collaborate with corporate, governmental and other organisations across different industries such as IKEA, the Province of North Holland, Cartier Women’s Initiative, Impact Nation and more!
You will support the Impact Innovation team in designing and executing innovation scouting assignments. Think: doing desk research to find the coolest innovations in the Netherlands and globally, keeping track of alumni and potentials in our CRM system, reaching out to interesting leads, and visiting or helping out during (online) events. With the team you will make the best matches between startups and current opportunities.
We also offer opportunities to develop your own ideas and research or train your skills. For example, we support you in asking the right questions to understand what impact entrepreneurs really need and take you through the process of how to close a deal.
If you want to change the status quo and business as usual, join our unique impact ecosystem and get on board!
Please send your motivation letter including your availability and CV to Gabriella Blakstad at amsterdam.innovate@impacthub.net with the exact subject: Innovate internship application
There are 4 internship positions a year (start date in consultation with you) so we review applications every few months and it may therefore take a bit of time for us to get back to you – please bear with us!
“I completed my 6-month internship with Impact Hub the Netherlands in March and had an incredible experience diving into the world of impact-driven change and entrepreneurship. As part of the Innovate team, I was able to engage with impact entrepreneurs from all over the world for change-driven challenges like the What Design Can Do x No Waste Challenge, the Tommy Hilfiger Fashion Frontier Challenge, and the Postcode Lotteries Green Challenge. From diversifying the fashion landscape to inspiring a future with less waste, it’s been incredibly fulfilling to be part of these projects and be given the opportunity to inspire impact towards a better future.”
