With this internship you will become part of the Acceleration team of Impact Hub Amsterdam. This team offers a unique acceleration trajectory, designed to help impact entrepreneurs at the most crucial stages of their development to start, grow and scale their business and make a positive impact in The Netherlands and beyond.
In addition to in-house programs such as Food Pioneers, Boost je Buurt and the Circular Innovation Collective, we collaborate with corporate, governmental and other organisations to co-design customised accelerators across multiple sectors and impact areas.
With multiple incubators and accelerators each year there is always something to do. You will support the acceleration team in coordinating training days and events. Amongst other things we have to make sure that the program participants feel part of our community, that the entrepreneurs are matched to a mentor, that the program materials are designed, the website is up-to-date, and that the trainers are ready for their sessions. There is a chance for you to co-facilitate a regular training day or do some additional research on a topic we’re working on in one of our ecosystems like food, fashion, inclusion or the circular economy. You get a chance to work with the entrepreneurs directly and be part of their development trajectory. We offer opportunities to develop your own ideas and research or train your skills, for example in content creation or event management.
You will get a workspace in our office, but we allow flexibility with working from home. Naturally, we will offer you an internship allowance.
If you want to change the status quo and business as usual, join our unique impact ecosystem and get on board.

“My interest in accelerating the transition to a greener and more inclusive society brought me to Impact Hub Amsterdam. Over the course of five months I have been part of several projects, all spanning different parts of the transition and challenging you in different ways. From food programmes where I met many inspiring entrepreneurs and learned more about the food transition, to the European project on Migrant Entrepreneurship where academics and incubator professionals come together. No day or project is the same!
The most special thing about Impact Hub Amsterdam is its people: you will be surrounded by inspiring colleagues, entrepreneurs, innovators and companies. Depending on what you would like to learn, Impact Hub Amsterdam provides you the freedom to contribute where you can, whilst giving you opportunities to grow (with workshops, events) and learn more about their ecosystems (Food, Inclusion, Fashion, Circular Economy). This internship is diverse, with each project, event, meeting or workshop adding new things to your knowledge about Impact and Innovation.”
Impact Hub Amsterdam is part of the fast-growing global Impact Hub network of impact entrepreneurs and innovators with more than 24,000 members in over 100 locations around the world.
