React!

React! is calling on all Youth Workers to spread knowledge on circular economy, social entrepreneurship and personal development. Sign up for the program and join the movement towards a sustainable economy!

WHY REACT!?

The development of a circular economy and social entrepreneurship is seen as key to improving the environment and creating positive societal change. But whilst awareness and interest in social entrepreneurship and the circular economy is increasing, it remains difficult for young people to access the right information and support to inflict great change. Young entrepreneurship is an important driver for innovation and a path forward towards a sustainable economy.

HOW DOES REACT! WORK?

React! provides you as a Youth Worker with a free online course. From September 7 onwards you get access to different online modules on the topics of Circular economyImpact Entrepreneurship and Personal Development.

Next to this, you can join almost every week (see timeline below) an interactive and inspiring online session in which you meet experts and other participants.

By following this course you will have effective and attractive tools to provide non-formal education to young people, to really understand the principles of a sustainable economy; the world of impact entrepreneurship and their personal development journey.

WORK ON A CASE

During training you can work on creating a case which you can implement during or after the case. This case can be something small or big, that's up to you! An example of a case can be:
- Organizing a field trip or a workshop to/with an inspiring circular company and having a Q&A with a team member of that company.
- Organizing a quiz in your company about the circular economy with an inspiring prize.
- Doing a brainstorm with young people on coming up with entrepreneurial solutions for societal issues
- Doing a repair workshop, or do a one-month-buy-nothing challenge

CRITERIA

We are looking to educate organisations or individuals involved with young people. Do you or does your organisation work with young people between 18 and 30 years old? Then this could be a project for you.

Time investment: the modules will take you around 2 hours a week, next to this you will have 4 live sessions of 1.5H which will connect you with all the participants from all over Europe!

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?

  • What is the circular economy
  • How can you integrate your own ambition and skills with the circular economy?
  • How to help young people to integrate circular economy in daily life

  • What is impact entrepreneurship?
  • What can youth workers learn from impact entrepreneurs and how can you collaborate?
  • How can you support young people in starting their own impact business?

  • Embark on a journey in which you will have the opportunity to think about your WHY (your purpose) and about your own mindset that is either supporting or hindering you
  • This module will give you the opportunity to stop and (re)think about what really matters
  • And how can you challenge your own assumption about what is possible
