Social Enterprise World Forum (SEWF)

On October 11-12 Amsterdam will be hosting the 2023 Social Enterprise World Forum (SEWF). SEWF’s goal is to strengthen the global social enterprise movement to accelerate the transition to a new economy. This global event is a milestone in our city’s journey to creating a wellbeing economy that prioritizes people and the planet. Social enterprises, investors, knowledge institutions and governments all play a part in ensuring we become more inclusive and sustainable.

The event is co-hosted by the City of Amsterdam (Amsterdam Impact), Social Enterprise NL and Social Enterprise World Forum is a chance to connect with thousands of impact entrepreneurs, investors, researchers and policymakers, including speakers such as Impact Hub alumni and partners Thami Schweicler (United Repair Centre) and Danique Gunning (MUD Jeans).

Visit and meet the people working with many of the companies and organizations behind these changes in industry at the forum in October. From social enterprise tours (9 & 13 October) to SEWF23 Fringe Day (10 October) and to the flagship event, the Social Enterprise World Forum, SEWF23 (11-12 October at the Kromhouthal, Amsterdam Noord, Netherlands) is your opportunity to connect with thousands of other purpose-driven people and be part of those shaping better and sustainable futures across the world. Can’t make it in person? No worries, this will be a hybrid event, so there will be plenty of online content to participate in.

Fringe Day - Oct 10

Don’t miss SEWF23 Fringe Day on October 10! Impact Hub Amsterdam will be hosting a full day of workshops before the flagship event days. Join us for a circular workshop with IKEA in the morning, followed by the “build your collaboration strategy” workshop in the afternoon – we will help you uncover the secrets of successful impact business partnerships.

Lastly, in the evening, Impact Hub Taipei will host an inspiring networking event about the startup ecosystem in Taipei.

On this day we will also celebrate our Impact Hub Amsterdam 15 year anniversary! So come and join us.
