MORE ABOUT OUR FOOD ECOSYSTEM
Our Food Ecosystem focuses on five goals based on policy and research by governments and networks such as Taskforce Korte Keten (TKK). For example, we aim to help reach 50% vegetable and 50% animal protein by 2025, as defined by the Green Protein Alliance. We also support the City of Amsterdam’s aim to produce 25% of our food locally by 2030 and the province of Noord-Holland’s work to shorten the chain and stimulate regenerative agriculture and biodiversity. Furthermore, with the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality, we aim to make our food system 50% circular by 2030. Finally, we are working towards healthy and affordable food for everyone in the Netherlands.
