Our focus areas

– Circular food system (50% circular in 2030 and 100% in 2050)
– More plant-based food (50% plant-based protein in 2025)
– Local and fair chains (25% local in 2030)
– Access to affordable, healthy and sustainable food

These ambitious goals and challenges demand a collective effort, with all stakeholders contributing their expertise and ideas. We hope you can join us on the 1st of November as we collaborate to create a more sustainable and inclusive food ecosystem.

Program

14:30 | Walk-in with food & drinks from our Food alumni.

15:00 | We will start with a keynote from Thekla Teunis, Founder and Director of Grounded, who shares her experiences building value chains for regenerative products and financing regenerative practices. She has experience in every step of the process; of building a company, a trading platform and a regenerative investment fund. What can we learn about supporting and investing in innovative agri-food practices?

16:00 | Then participate in the crowd solving session with Juiciety and The Ketchup Club, among others, to generate high-quality and feasible ideas for the challenges in their company and the chain. Here we see the power of the sustainable food ecosystem in practice!

Panel conversation:

To make the power of this ecosystem accessible all year round, we will launch the new Food Innovators Platform at the end of the afternoon. We do this in consultation with:

  • Loes Leatemia: Food Strategy Program Manager, Municipality of Amsterdam
  • Eric Traa: Business Development Manager, Cooperative Rabobank
  • Annick Mantoua: director of De Gezonde Stad
  • Joris Lohman: Co Founder, Strategy Director of Food Hub and Low Food

We look forward to welcoming you and working together towards a sustainable future for the food industry. And of course you are more than welcome to network during drinks from 17:00.
