Finance - Operations Manager

About the role

You are the linchpin that supports our team with your organizational skills, attention to detail, and communicative abilities. You understand the ins and outs of administration for a service-oriented company, including contracts, financial administration, and more. You are a responsible person, that likes to take the initiative – working closely together with the management team.

While working remote is possible, we believe -as our linchpin- that your presence in the office is key to your role – connecting with everyone in the organization on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting and improving operational business processes and overall efficiency.
  • (Project-) Administration: and translating this into financial management information. For example; administering projects in processes, invoicing, payroll administration and payments.
  • Legal support for contracts: preparation and follow-up with a good overview of deadlines, reports and other obligations.
  • Reporting: gathering information for financial and impact reports to partners such as financiers, EU subsidy programs, B-corp certification, the annual report and for the international Impact Hub network.

Requirements

Minimum requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Relevant education
  • Enjoys working in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Demonstrably strong communication skills in Dutch and English
  • Able to work independently and oversee multiple workflows
  • Available for 24 hours per week

Job Specifications

  • Part of the Impact Hub Amsterdam team, and the global Impact Hub network consisting of over 100 locations, and 300.000 entrepreneurs.
  • Salary dependent on your experience (between €3500-€4500), with 5 weeks of vacation, 8% vacation pay and a pension contribution
  • Start date is preferably no later than May 1st, 2024.
