Starting a meeting or event off right, with a high level of energy and clear focus, is a key factor in an event’s success.

During this meet-up, Bruce Haase of the Dutch chapter of the International Association of Facilitators will share what makes a good icebreaker, as well as tried and true practical tools for you to use!

What to expect?

When facilitating an event or leading a process it’s important that participants get to know each other quickly and feel comfortable with the group. The energy and trust in a group determine both the quality of the collaboration and the final result.

Icebreakers and energizers are techniques and tools that can help in this process. During this session, a number of useful icebreakers and energizers will be introduced. There will also be time for participants to share some of their own icebreakers and energizers with the group.

The session will be followed by networking drinks and snacks. Snacks will be provided, while drinks can be purchased (card only!).

Who is this for?

This event is recommended to anyone involved in managing group processes or facilitating events. Both IAF members and non-members are welcome. Participation is free of charge, but registration is required. Contributions to help cover the venue costs are kindly encouraged.
